What's the position?

The Mitchell Auto Group is currently seeking day/evening receptionists for a number of their locations in Canton, Simsbury, and Windsor, Connecticut.

The Showroom Receptionist / Greeter is a front line representative for the dealership and must represent the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times. They greet customers as they enter the showroom and directs them to the appropriate party in accordance with dealership policies. They intercept and routes all incoming calls, takes thorough messages, or uses voice mail and provides basic information to callers.

What are the job requirements?

What's the Position?

The Mitchell Auto Body shop is currently seeking an estimator for our store in Simsbury, Connecticut.

Body shop estimators are responsible for writing estimates, scheduling work as well as following up and settling claims with insurance companies.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to read and comprehend estimates and insurance guidelines.

What are the responsibilities involved?

  • Write estimates and schedule customers.
  • Reconcile estimates previously written by insurance companies.
  • Bill out and invoice jobs written.
  • Generate supplements and communicate with insurance companies for authorization.
  • Order parts necessary to complete the job.
  • Document all activities with photos and notes.
  • Help organize the days agenda (prioritize jobs).
  • Follow up on estimates written.
  • Greets customers in a timely and friendly manner.  Assists the customer through the claim process.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Establishes customer's and Insurance Company's method of payment.
  • Checks on progress of repair work throughout the day.  Contacts customers and the insurance companies regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time.  Obtains proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress.
  • Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted.
  • Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
